Statbel reported 3,741,216 overnight stays and 1,179,905 arrivals in 2025 at campsites and caravan or recreational-vehicle parks. Overnight stays increased by 10.5% year over year. This is explicitly a broad accommodation category: the figures are not motorhome- or vanlife-only and must not be read as a vanlife total.

| Flanders | 626,728 | 1,984,054 |
| Wallonia | 553,177 | 1,757,162 |

Methodology and scope
This edition brings together three official series without creating a composite score or municipal ranking. The vehicle fleet describes administratively registered motorhomes; it is not a count of people living vanlife full-time or part-time.
Growth of 30.6% is calculated as the difference between 59,060 vehicles in 2019 and 77,107 in 2024, divided by the 2019 value and rounded to one decimal place. Provincial and regional subtotals were arithmetically checked against their stated national total.
The 2025 transaction series distinguishes new and used registration transactions. A transaction does not necessarily equal a unique vehicle or a new vanlifer. The Statbel series is shown only as tourism context and is broader than vanlife.
